Help the National Reentry Resource Center (NRRC), and The Council of State Governments (CSG) Justice Center, celebrate #SecondChanceMonth and showcase the impact of reentry work across the country. This year’s theme is Second Chances for Stronger Communities.
This toolkit contains social media handles, sample social media posts, logos and graphics, and other opportunities for partners—like you!—to join the conversation.

Showcase your organization’s impact by adding data to your social media posts, newsletter copy, and press materials. This could include:
- Number of people served
- Outcomes data (e.g. housing placements, jobs obtained, treatment completions, recidivism data, etc.)
- Economic impact of programs
Consider ways to amplify related efforts of other partners. In doing so, you can tap into a wider audience and boost community awareness and engagement. This could include:
- Co-authoring an article in your local newspaper
- Co-hosting a Second Chance Month event
- Discussing impactful community partners in interviews
- Publishing a blog post that highlights a partner’s efforts
- Reposting each other’s social media content
- Tagging partners in social media posts
- Mentioning partners’ achievements or events in your newsletter
