Experiential Learning: Hiring People Who Are Incarcerated for Work-Based Learning and Employment Opportunities Webinar

The Council of State Governments (CSG) Justice Center, with funding and support from the U.S. Department of Justice's Office of Justice Programs' Bureau of Justice Assistance, hosted an employment grantee learning community webinar featuring Ved Price, executive director of the Alliance for Higher Education in Prison. The webinar focused on the importance of creating work-based learning and employment opportunities for students in correctional settings, such as internships, teaching assistantships, job shadowing, or remote employment. You will leave this webinar with a better understanding of how to incorporate program design considerations and best practices, as well as strategies to engage and partner with correctional administrators.
