Oneida County Jail Inmates Celebrated for Completing Transitional Programs

It was a different type of commencement ceremony Tuesday–in an unlikely place–the Oneida County Jail, and the graduates were inmates.

More than a dozen inmates were honored in a Celebration of Success.

Behind bars, they completed programs that will help prepare them for their transition back into the community, and keep them from being incarcerated in the future.
