February 7, 2017

Hosted by the CSG Justice Center with funding support from the U.S. Department of Justice's Bureau of Justice Assistance

In this webinar, two victim services reentry professionals from corrections departments discuss victim service programming for agencies and organizations that work with people in the criminal justice system.

Lydia Newlin from the Minnesota Department of Corrections and Jeri Costa from the Washington State Department of Corrections share how victim advocacy improves the work of prison, probation, and parole staff while giving victims a voice in the process. They will also share tools they have developed to help with safety planning and other victim needs while preparing people to return to their communities after incarceration.
