Effective Reentry Practices in Tribal Communities

Effective Reentry Practices in Tribal Communities CoverThis Tribal Reentry information sheet developed by the Corrections and Community Engagement Technical Assistance Center (CCETAC) at the American Institutes for Research (AIR) was created to serve as a resource for Tribal SCA grantees, Tribal communities in the planning stages of developing a reentry program, and for non-Tribal reentry organizations/programs that serve Tribal communities.

The Tribal reentry informational sheet highlights effective strategies to foster and sustain reentry partnerships with local jails and State and Federal prisons, strengthen Tribal-State partnerships, and give a voice and opportunity to the experiences and knowledge of formerly incarcerated Tribal citizens.
