Webinar: How to Use the Reentry Program Sustainability Toolkit to Plan for Your Program’s Sustainability
April 7, 2022
The Sustainability Toolkit is a valuable guide for reentry programs. It outlines the three areas of sustainability planning:
- Communications: Develop a communication plan that addresses the audience, message, frequency, and channel.
- Branding: Connect with the program audience by creating a mission statement, values, logo, and design.
- Funding: Create a funding map to identify and assess what the program needs and where to focus efforts to secure additional funding.
This webinar from the Evaluation and Sustainability Training and Technical Assistance (ES TTA) team at RTI International and the Center for Justice Innovation (formerly the Center for Court Innovation) explores how to navigate the Toolkit and apply its lessons to reentry programs.
Speakers include:
- Lisa Bailey Vavonese, Director, Research-Practice Strategies, Center for Court Innovation
- Sergeant Jennifer Howell, Project Director, New Dawn Initiative, Erie County Sheriff’s Department
- Akea Daley, Director, Returning Citizens Division, MBI Health Services, LLC
- Josephine Namayanja, Program Consultant, The University of Massachusetts – Boston
