State Reentry Coordinator's College Session on Economic Mobility

April 25, 2023
This third session of the State Reentry Coordinator’s College focused on economic mobility and addressed strategies to improve access to workforce development services.
John Bae, Bureau of Justice Assistance (BJA) Second Chance Fellow, presented on a forthcoming publication, "Building Reentry Ecosystems: Blueprints for Innovation," and three state projects that focus on employment were highlighted.
The State Reentry Coordinator’s College is a peer-learning and networking event series to support successful reentry in the wake of a changing landscape, offering state reentry leaders a chance to learn about innovative approaches in housing, economic mobility, education, and treatment; highlight BJA funding opportunities that communities can leverage to implement the strategies covered throughout the series; and discuss what support they need in their role.
