The Missouri Department of Corrections (DOC) is hosting a Second Chance Month event on April 19, 2023 to launch their participation in Reentry 2030, a national, Bureau of Justice Assistance-supported initiative that aims to dramatically improve reentry success for people exiting prison and those under supervision.

Governor Mike Parson, Missouri DOC Director Anne Precythe, and U.S. Department of Justice's Office of Justice Programs' Bureau of Justice Assistance Deputy Director, Heather Tubman-Carbone, will be joined by state leaders demonstrating the collaborative nature of commitment across multiple state cabinet agencies, including public safety, economic and workforce development, education, health, labor, commerce, transportation, and other social services.
