How the New Prison Education Program Regulations Affect Local Jails – Part 2 in Webinar Series
In partnership with The Council of State Governments Justice Center and the U.S. Department of Justice’s Office of Justice Programs’ Bureau of Justice Assistance, the Vera Institute of Justice is hosting a three-part webinar series exploring Pell-eligible postsecondary education opportunities in jails. In this second webinar, Vera discusses the specific jail populations impacted by the new U.S. Department of Education prison education program (PEP) regulations and jail and college administrators discuss how they are navigating these regulations in their jurisdictions.
