Spreading the word about your reentry program’s accomplishments and impacts is crucial to maximize the value of your local evaluation and build sustainable funding support. However, in an age of information inundation, getting the attention of busy partners, community stakeholders, and potential funders takes creativity—and infographics can do just that. This webinar addresses the why, when, and how of infographics.

Why develop an infographic? You want to:

  • Raise awareness about your services.
  • Keep stakeholders informed and excited.
  • Tell people about your SCA program’s impact.

When could you develop an infographic?

  • You are launching a new program.
  • Referrals or meeting participation from your partner agencies seem to be dropping off.
  • You have a big presentation to a funder or stakeholders about your progress.
  • You have early or final evaluation results to share.

How do you develop an infographic?

  • Determine your message (e.g., Who is your audience? What do you want them to learn?).
  • Develop or select (if already available) content.
  • Implement basic principles for simple design and layout (e.g., break information into bite-size chunks, choose words carefully, communicate visually, use color to code information).
  • Use design software.

This webinar from the Evaluation and Sustainability Training and Technical Assistance (ES TTA) team at RTI International and the Center for Justice Innovation (formerly the Center for Court Innovation) introduces attendees to the why, when, and how of infographic development—from idea to execution and dissemination—giving attendees the tools to share information about their SCA work in an exciting, accessible format. The webinar also walks attendees through a demonstration of an infographic design platform.
